Cake and bake fans are invited to raise some dough for breast cancer research at a Rochdale library this month.
From 2pm to 4.30pm, on Monday 21 October, Balderstone Library, is hosting a coffee and cake afternoon as part of the Great Pink Bake Off to raise vital funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer - the UK’s leading charity dedicated to stopping women dying from breast cancer.
Visitors to the library in Balderstone Park will be able to buy a variety of cakes donated by staff and customers and take part in a cupcake raffle and children can have a go at decorating a cupcake.
All funds raised will go to charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer which funds almost 25 per cent of the UK's breast cancer research and educates women to recognise the signs and symptoms of the disease.
